Flat out on a Saturday morning but staff were friendly and keeping everything moving, shuffling tables around as groups came and went. Great range of breakfast options if you're keen to try something more adventurous and upmarket, lots of big flavour combinations on offer. The Eggs & Bacon off the kids "Minions Menu" would not be out of place as a main elsewhere. All our meals were done very well and impeccably presented. Coffee was fine. A few high chairs available and some kids colouring books and pencils on a side shelf. Will definitely be back.

Mockingbird Cafe is a cozy spot with a very lively vibe. We ordered the matcha latte, which was pleasant but lacked a strong matcha flavour, while the charcoal latte was a unique must-try. For food, we had the chicken toastie, which was packed with juicy chicken and melty cheese, as well as the brisket + burrata, which was tender and paired perfectly with tangy pickles and creamy burrata. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making it a great place for a relaxed brunch. Highly recommend!

Really nice place. Classy looks with big open doors, staff are super friendly and know the regulars names, food is unique and not the same as the cafe up the road, and the mums lentils which is what I ate was really good. I have my eye on the fancy porridge and the fritters as well so I'll definitely be back. On the whole, great place to have breakfast and I want to go back.

This cute little place is not just well located, but well enjoyed! Lovely coffee, lovely service and possibly the best eggs bennedict I've ever had. You can get it with bacon, but I implore you to try it with the pulled pork Thank you Paris and of course the chef! Will be back and will recommend.

Always an excellent place to have lunch. Went for my birthday and had one of the friendly staff recommend the chilli scrambled eggs. Absolutely delicious! The red velvet pancakes were very decedent. I've never had anything like them. Highly recommend. I've heard the Mockingbird at the wineries is a top choice and I'd love to try it one day.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. One of many popular cafes in the Newcastle area. Wait wasn't too long for a group of 5 for peak Sunday brunch time. Ordered our drinks first which took a bit of time but all our food took longer, the good thing was that it all came at once so we could eat together. Ordered their pork benedict, there was a large and generous amount of pulled pork with this dish and it could make anyone full with such a serving. Biscoff latte was average but more affordable than other places. Thanks for the brunch Mockingbird! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

Staff were friendly and efficient, food came out quickly, I had the red velvet pancakes and added bacon after staff recommended, it was soooo good and phenomenal presentation. Immune boost juice was nice, I could only taste the beetroot and ginger. It was very loud inside and hard to hear each other but that’s understandable due to it being very busy and the big glass doors stayed shut to keep the warmth in. I wasn’t a fan of the loose leaf English breakfast.

Dropped in day and was greeted at the door and then was served quickly. The young lady that served me was very helpful and the muffin and were both hot and delicious.

Mockingbird was an amazing experience! The staff were lovely, and the food was delicious and high quality. We were a group of four for breakfast, and everyone enjoyed their dishes. The only downside is that it gets very crowded, making it hard to find parking and quite noisy inside. Still, definitely worth a visit for the great food and service!

The caramel tart was perfectly balanced, with a cute chocolate design on the plate. The iced soy latte with caramel was refreshing and creamy without being too sweet. Really enjoyed both..... would definitely get them again 🫶🏻✨️!
